How far would you go to turn your life around? Would you take off all your clothes and dance naked in front of hundreds of people? Would you risk humiliating yourself, your friends and your family? Have you ever been in a situation where you’ve felt as desperate as all that?
While most audience members are drawn to “The Full Monty” for the (perceived) provocative story line about six average blue collar workers’ decision to make some quick cash by becoming “Male Strippers” for one evening, they come away with a far more interesting appreciation of just how far a person is willing to go to turn his/her life around. This story quickly becomes more about the stripping of one’s soul than the mere stripping of the clothes on one’s back.
