![]() STAGE ONE Summer Theatre Program For Youth July 12 – 30 STAGE ONE is a three-week program teaching the basics of theatre with a hands-on approach, culminating in a full scale musical production. Aspects to be covered include character work, improvisation, dance/stage movement, stagecraft and vocal work. Stage One provides students with the experience of designing and participating in a stage production from audition to rehearsal to performance, giving the students the opportunity to learn creative dramatics and theatre skills in a safe, FUN environment. The program is designed for ages 9–16 and runs each summer, at Masquers Playhouse. The goal of Stage One is to teach the process of producing a musical through workshops on Music, Dance, Set Design/Construction, Hair/Makeup, etc., Tuition is $500. Some scholarships are available. Survival Rate tells the story of Stew who pays a reluctant visit to his friend's wife, Victoria, in the hospital. Victoria wants more than flowers and small talk, and she leaves Stew with a legacy that redefines the term femme fatale. With both parents gone and a chain-smoking Grandma in charge, Bella is a fourteen-year-old girl whose goal is to survive and thrive into adulthood.
