Ticket Types & Policies

Package Options

Season tickets are available starting in late September or early October of the current year, for the upcoming annual season. Tickets are paid in advance. It is the responsibility of the patron to call in advance for seating reservations. Season tickets do not apply to the Masquers Dinner Benefit performance during each regular season show.

Sales On-line

Tickets for all of our regular season shows are available on-line at Masquers.org. Clients are charged a small fee. Season tickets or tickets for feature performances such as Envision shows or seasonal functions and fundraisers are not available on-line. All sales are final.

Pre-paid Tickets

Tickets can be ordered through our reservations line at 510.232.4031. Patrons are asked to pay for their tickets in advance. All sales are final. Tickets can be paid by credit card (Visa and MasterCard only) or a check can be mailed to our Post Office box.

Vouchers

Complimentary vouchers are given to participants in all the productions and to members of the public at the discretion of the theatre board or administrative staff. Patrons with vouchers are responsible for calling in advance for seating reservations.

Masquers Members

Masquers members are responsible for calling in advance to make seating reservations. In the event of a sold out house, members may be asked to give up their seats for paying patrons. (Paying patrons: Those paying with cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, paid on-line, and pre-paid season ticket holders.) Members of Masquers may attend a performance more than once. Masquers membership privileges do not apply to seasonal functions or fundraisers.

10-Minute Rule

The following are subject to forfeit for theatergoers who have not checked in with the box office as of ten minutes before curtain:
Seats not paid for in advance
Seats reserved with vouchers
Seats reserved by Masquers members.
At our discretion, these seats may be forfeited to season ticket holders or to other paying patrons. Pre-sold tickets will not be resold, however.

Late Arrivals

Patrons who arrive at the theatre after curtain time will be seated at our discretion to reduce disturbance to other patrons at the performance.

Dinner Benefits

Masquers puts on a special dinner and show benefit the last Thursday (before closing) of a show. Proceeds benefit Masquers playhouse. Tickets for this event include dinner at the Hotel Mac restaurant followed by a performance of the current show. Tickets are one price for both events. Season tickets, vouchers, and Masquers memberships do not apply to this event. Tickets to the dinner and to the show will not be sold separately.

Group Sales

Groups of 10 or more may purchase tickets for a discounted group rate by calling our reservations line only. All sales must be pre-paid and all sales are final.

Groups looking for fundraising opportunities should leave a message for our benefit coordinator at (510) 232-3888 or e-mail benefits@masquers.org.
