Our Mission
The Masquers Playhouse, Inc., is a volunteer, non-profit, community theatre that produces and stages affordable plays and other live theatrical events for the entertainment and cultural enhancement of the greater Bay Area.
We provide a creative outlet for amateur theatre people, exercise sound financial management, encourage audience participation and involvement, and seek to foster a strong community identity.

About Masquers
MASQUERS PLAYHOUSE is a community theatre located in Point Richmond, California, on the East shore of San Francisco Bay. We are a nonprofit corporation, and have been producing plays and musicals of the highest caliber for 70 years.
Our main season presents five productions - two of which are musicals. Shows run for five weeks, with performances on Friday and Saturday evenings, and some Sunday matinees. Additionally, our Envision program produces short-run pieces that offer an opportunity for new directors and lesser known plays to be introduced to our audiences.
Masquers welcomes people of all backgrounds, theatre experience, and skill levels to come join in the production of our shows - act, direct, run the tech, stage manage, build and paint sets, help in the lobby, work with costumes and props, and enjoy the company of other people involved in supporting this valuable community asset.
